Your Portrait Session

My Portrait Sessions are designed to capture family life in the most beautiful and natural way. 

Each Dove Grey portrait session is customised and planned around you and your family.  I understand how unsettling it can be for young children to meet someone new so I like to give them a chance to get used to me and my camera before I start taking photos.

Before your session we will have a pre-session consultation.  These usually happen over the phone, during which, we will discuss the best location for your family, what to wear and any additional information.   This is a great time to ask me any questions about you session.

Portrait sessions take place at a location of your choice.  Some of my favourites include the beach, country parks, village locations and lavender fields.

On the day of your session we will meet at your chosen location and spend one hour exploring it together, encouraging children to play while I capture photos.  I always suggest bringing snacks for young children and am happy to take short breaks if necessary.

I may bring a blanket to use in the photos, or if it is a birthday session I like to use balloons.  If you would like your child photographed on a bike or scooter please let me know during our consultation.

After your session, with your permission, I will post a preview photo from your session on my Facebook page.   Within four weeks you will receive a package containing a DVD of individually edited images, five gift prints and a link to your online gallery.
