Beautiful baby Thalia’s Newborn Photoshoot – At home in Southsea

There is nothing better than picking up the phone to a close friend and hearing “We’d love to book you for a baby shoot.”  Agh!  It just makes me so happy!

Beautiful Tahlia was fast asleep in this perfect position that you can see her in in the first photo, I didn’t want to move her so I snapped away while she slept peacefully.  Then we gathered the family together for my favourite part of the session, the group bed shots.  While the photos look calm, the reality is that there is always just a few moments of calmness before one or other older sibling rolls off the bed or needs to let out a bounce!  Thalia’s big sisters were so attentive to her and just couldn’t stop giving her sweet kisses.

After the bed shots were finished we gave the children a break in the form of me photographing the family doing one of their favourite things, making and eating pancakes.  It was such a lovely way to capture the natural relationships between the family and to give them some lasting memories of a normal Saturday morning, I can confirm that the pancakes were delicious!

We finished up with Mummy and Daddy portraits infront of these stunning shutters.  I encouraged Mum and Dad to take the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful moment with their youngest daughter, to really take her in and the photos reflect the depth of love they have for their third baby girl.
