Favourites from 2013 – The first year of Dove Grey Designs Photography!
2013 has been an amazing year for me and Dove Grey Designs Photography. It was only this time last year that my husband finally persuaded me that I should stop teaching for a while and just try doing photography full time. Up until then it had just been a hobby, but I loved spending time taking photos and editing them so was excited to try doing it professionally. That was last January, and we haven’t looked back since. Starting the year with no work and no bookings was a little scary but God has blessed me with work every month and I am so grateful for everyone who has put their trust in me and hired me! It has been a very steep learning curve; learning how to run a business, provide a good service and also learning new photography and editing skills. I don’t imagine that I will ever feel like I have learned everything or that I will ever be completely satisfied with the photos that I produce, but I think that is a good thing as I will constantly be trying to improve and learn.
I have picked out a few of my favourite images from this year to share with you. Thank you again for all your support and encouragement. I can’t wait to see what 2014 will bring!
